National Intern Day: Summer Intern Spotlight

Today we’re celebrating our incredible summer interns for National Intern Day! Through their hard work, unique perspectives, and fresh ideas, Ellie and James have made great additions to our team! To honor our interns on their special day, we wanted to let them introduce themselves personally.

Meet Ellie – PR & Marketing Intern

My name is Ellie Feldman and I am going to be a senior this coming school year. I’m from Dallas, Texas and I have been interning with Amplified Digital Agency all summer. In my free time, I love to dance, cheer, and bake. This year I will be cheer captain of my high school varsity cheer team which I am very excited about. I had an internship last summer where I learned a little about marketing with a nonprofit, but this summer, I have taken a deep dive into digital agencies and what they have to offer. Before starting this internship I set three goals for myself. First, I wanted to learn how to connect with brands (first steps in representing them). Second, I wanted to learn more about strategies used to promote brands and how that has changed as our world modernizes. And lastly, I wanted to improve in writing and creating content used to target certain markets and people. So far I have been able to work on all three of my goals and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store for me. Amplified Digital Agency has provided me with an incredible opportunity and I’m so grateful to be interning with this amazing company.

Meet James – Communication Marketing Intern

My name is James Depp and I am currently a senior at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. Majoring in Communications and New Media Studies with a minor in Photography, I hope to bring a creative spin to everything I do. My hobbies include circus arts, specializing in Aerial Silk, which I’ve been doing for the past 6 years. When I’m not tending to my large collection of house plants you can find me at a nearby park soaking up the sun or playing with my 2-year-old cat Mister. I’ve always been a creative person for as long as I can remember and I always try to find a way to turn what I’m doing into a creative outlet. Recently, since starting at Amplified, I’ve been creating social posts for multiple businesses ranging in the category of service. I’m having a lot of fun and learning a lot. What I’m enjoying most about Amplified is how much everyone loves what they do. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be gaining critical experience to see if this career path is one I want to pursue after college.
